*if you did not get tattooed @ the heart, or decided not to purchase H2 Ocean aftercare cream: you should use some sort of WATER BASED, NON-SCENTED lotion!

WARNING!!-DO NOT mix H2Ocean products with any products that contain petroleum, wax or oils.  If irritation occurs continue to consult with your artist or a doctor and discontinue use. These directions are for use with H2Ocean products or a water based, non-scented lotion!

After removing the bandage(which should stay on the tattoo anywhere from 1 to 4 hours), wash the tattoo with warm water and a mild soap.   Use your fingers with medium pressure during your washes, this will help get rid of any dried secretion you may not see. The dried secretion forms a barrier layer which is the start of a scab. The dead dermal layers will form more rapidly on the first two days of healing because of the inflamed dermal cells. Washing with warm water opens the derma pores and gives your skin a deep clean. The first day H2Ocean recommends a minimum of 4 warm water washes or every hour until bedtime. Apply the h2Ocean cream before bed.  The second day H2Ocean recommends 3 washes and up to 6 applications of h2Ocean cream. The cream will cool down the tattoo. Wash every morning and before bed then apply H2Ocean. Drying and peeling is normal after the 3rd day.

pretty much, keep it clean, keep it moist, and dont be a retard!!
